After thirty years in the insurance brokerage business, Frédéric decided to switch to wine, which he has always been passionate about. Born in Dijon, and having lived in Burgundy for most of his life, he has become an enlightened wine lover over the years.
His professional experience brought him into close contact with the world of viticulture. At the end of 2017, he decided to change his activity and invest in a winery. His aim is to offer a range of wines that brings out the best of the different terroirs while respecting the character and personality of each cru and each plot.
Frédéric is now in charge of the management of the estate, the management of the team and also the marketing of the wines.
After training in viticulture in Beaune, he joined the family estate in 2011, whose plots are mostly on the Côte de Nuits.
Guillaume is now taking up the challenge of making Beaujolais wines from Gamay grapes with the same rigour he deploys in making the best Burgundies.
Guillaume is most famous in his home region for the wines he produces on the family estate alongside his father Emmanuel Rouget. Trained from his childhood in the work of the vine and wine, he has benefited from a know-how passed down through several generations. He has inherited the style of his famous great-uncle, Henri Jayer, this search for fine, elegant, racy wines, with intense fruitiness and growing complexity over time.
Guillaume is in charge of the entire production chain, from the cultivation practices to the different phases of vinification. He also takes part in the marketing of the estate's wines.
